In a small private press conference in Fo Tan, HK, political heavyweights James Low, Lillian Li and James Lewis added their name to the growing list of Obama endorsements.
There were some fears that such a close political alignment could cause division in the Sunday Lunch Bunch special interest group, but the trio assured the public that there would be no conflict of interest and that Lewis and Low would not be changing their stance on Politico.
And whatever you think of that you have to watch this:

'political heavyweights' Lol. listening to it right now
We decided that we would support someone for a change.
yes for a change we can believe in
This post is a post we can believe in
Obama's domestic policies are great, but his international policies are dubious at best:
1) Withdrawing from Iraq will create a power vacuum where tens of thousands of people will die. The 'coalition of the willing' are responsible for this anarchy, and they need to sort it out. The loss of British & American lives is tiny compared to the bloodshed that will follow if American troops leave.
2) Obama is incredibly protectionist, meaning he wants to "protect American jobs" by disadvantaging external competitors. Economic theory and historic evidence very clearly shows that this hurts everyone - it hurts producers in the developing world who rely on access to developed world markets to escape poverty; it hurts Americans who through temporary protection from real world economics make bad investment decisions that eventually unravel. Sri Lanka used to be 4-5 times richer than South Korea, but SL went protectionist, and Korea went free trade. Guess who's vastly richer now.
P.S. That doesn't mean I don't support Obama, or think that British/American military lives don't count (on the contrary), just that the bloodshed of innocent Iraqis is going to be enormous compared to what we're seeing now.
Yea, hopefully there will be someone in his cabinate or maybe congress as a whole that will keep that side of things in check and keep trade open. Although maybe it will mean everyone just trades with China instead, although that might make China too powerful and then the world might be in a spot of trouble….
Oh my goodness Sherin.
"'political heavyweights' Lol"
That's exactly what I was going to write.
Ps. Y'all are crazy. Vote Corissa for Totalitarian Dictator of the World!
Obama '08!!!
i'll nominate you for anything corissa, when you make a roflcopter fly.
Lewis: 'This post is a post we can believe in' hahahaha, SO FUNNY, i almost missed that with all the serious polititcal talk from Janakan…
But Corissa for Dictator, that would put you head to head with Lillian for dictator and cause a longer and more bitter campagne than the 08 democratic pimaries. And I'm not even sure even a private face to face meeting would be enough to repair the damage and restore party unity.
Although Corissa is so witty should could be black http://www.facebook.com/wa ll.php?id=3094850247 and Lillian just about qualifies as girl :-P so it wouldn't be that unlike the democratic nominations.
Now its a race to see who'll get dibs on the phrase "A dictator we can believe in."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That would be awesome,
Actually I dont mind that Obama seems to be more isolationist. it'll mean that everyone doesnt get invaded.
He'll change his itn'l policies because I think most people will tell him that they're not the best.
Just you wait, Janakan.
